ITS–G-111-BELIBIS-KEMBANGThe Whistling Tree Duck measures 41 cm in length, whilst its colouring is almost identical to the Lesser Tree Duck. It feeds on plants. The duck lays 8-10 creamy in colour eggs on the river banks which are made of grass. Sometimes the duck makes a hole in a tree for nesting. It inhabits Sumatra, Kalimantan and West Java. The Whistling Tree Duck is identical to the Lesser Tree Duck except for the fact that it can whistle.
