ITS–J-54-1-(EXPO-70)The Osaka Expo ‘70  was a World’s Fair held in Suita, Osaka, Japan between March 15 and September 13, 1970. The theme of the Expo was “Progress and Harmony for Mankind.” This was the first World’s Fair held in Japan and unlike the previous Expo (which focused on the advancement of  technology and industry) Expo’70 also focused on human life and was set to promote a better humankind.

Indonesia was among the 76 countries participating in the expo and among the seven countries that focused on cultural and art displays at their pavilions. The Indonesian pavilion attracted between 30,000 to 40,000 visitors every day.
