E-73-2-MAUPUTI-CENGKEITS–This dance is an expression of thankfulness to the people in Central Celebes. The dance is usually performed during the clove harvesting. It is performed by six or eight young girls, wearing a three-structured skirt called Kulawi traditional costume.

The movements of the dance follow the rhythm of a traditional musical instrument called Kakula (sort of percussion instrument) and the song Mapuputi Cengkeh (clove).
