Boha Wasur (Anseranas Semipalmata)

ITS–G-117-bebek_5Anseranas semipalmata is a type of duck mostly found  in Wasur, Merauke, Papua. Living in swamps, this kind of  bird has a body similar to that of a goose but it has long legs with incomplete swimming membranes. It also has a big body and is 865-975 mm in length. It can stretch its wings up to 1,5 m. Buds of flowers and grass are its main food. It can bear 9 offspring every year. It is also a source of animal protein.
